Harmony for Hope

Charity Money Raised: $2522
Charities helped: Maltby Food Bank, Seattle Music Partners, The Poor People’s Campaign, Northwest Immigrant Rights Project, HopeLink, and Friends of Youth

Harmony for Hope is a partnership between Clarinettissimo and Socially Active Churches, begun in 2018,  to raise money for charities that they choose, or their charitable arm.

Inspired by a previous series at Richmond Beach Congregational Church that raised several thousand dollars for charities each year, Harmony for Hope partners with churches who want to be active in improving their local communities, and be a center of music and culture for their cities. World-class musicians from the Orca Concert Series perform at area churches; people from the charities speak – sometimes telling inspiring or heartwarming stories of how this charity changed their personal life or community; and people interact and form new social connections to strengthen their community.
